The LFEX Norwegian Exporters Index for Week 32 2026 ended the week DOWN -1.72 NOK /- 2.35% stand at 71.48 NOK (in EUR terms 6.49 / -0.17 / -2.62%) FCA Oslo Week ending Thursday to Thursday.

The NOK rate ended UP at 11.01 (+0.03 / +0.27%) to the Euro to yesterday Thursday. The Fish Pool Euronext future September was reported UP at 6.10 EUR (+6.09% / +0.35) for the same period with October showing 5.90.

The Last Week

Prices flat gently softened. Offered prices opened flat / up small last Friday at 73.72 an increase of 0.5 NOK / 0.71% over last weeks close, and this was the high of the week. Prices remained stable for the week, ticking down a NOK on Monday, up small Tuesday down to 71.17 on Wednesday and we finished the week on the low. Holiday season and many are away but summer volumes found homes last week.

Friday FX rate tracked slightly higher intraweek this week but pretty flat as well around 11.01 having increased from last week’s open at 10.94 levels early in the week.

Spreads on 3-6s were around 4.5 NOK by the end of the week, fairly evenly spread with the larger fish trading at relative premium.

Next Week

Indications for next week are coming in at around 69.25 NOK Friday offered levels for the index which represents a further drop from Thursdays close, down 2.25 NOK.

Spreads remain around the 4.5 NOK level between 3-6’s with the larger fish maintaining a decent premium over the 2-4s.

The EUR NOK FX rate this afternoon is lower again dipping to around the 10.975. This makes the offered price in Euro’s around 6.31 FCA Oslo this afternoon.

Volumes – Fresh Export

Volume figure for week 31 (2026) was 26,958 as compared to 25,317 for the same week last year UP 1,641 tons some 6.48% HIGHER. Volumes for weeks 32 and 33 (2025) were 25,796 and 27,320 respectively for comparison. Reverting to the trend of greater volumes in the current year.

The NOK rate ended UP at 11.92 (+0.03 / +0.76%) to the Euro. The Fish Pool Euronext future September was reported DOWN Thursday to Thursday at 5.00 EUR, (-0.10 / -1.96%) approximately 59.60 NOK.
