SSB Salmon Prices (weekly)

SSB Salmon prices are published weekly by Statistics Norway.

The prices of all exported salmon in all weight classes are used to calculate the average sales price for the specified week. Price information is extracted from sales invoices submitted to Norwegian Customs information system and is therefore deemed highly accurate.

It should be noted however that the SSB also records transactions based on fixed price contracts and the pricing of these will not necessarily reflect the actual ‘spot’ price for any particular week. It will however record all export transactions and their price, calculated to OSLO FOB.
